Morning: Laramie County Community College
A student’s day at Laramie County Community College is divided between work and school. This creates the need for a variety of methods that will engage students in hearing and responding to the Good News of Jesus Christ. AARON BELL serves as the Baptist Collegiate Ministry director. He and his wife, MELODY, want all 5,000 of the students to come to know Christ, which is no small task. Your commitment to reaching people through the Cooperative Program allows the Bells to spend time with students, which in turn opens opportunities for them to share the Gospel. Pray for student ministry leaders to be faithful and responsible in their commitment to share the Gospel. Ask the Lord to start a revival among the students attending Laramie County Community College.
Mark 6:7-10 He summoned the Twelve and began to send them out in pairs and gave them authority over unclean spirits. 8 He instructed them to take nothing for the road except a walking stick: no bread, no traveling bag, no money in their belts. 9 They were to wear sandals, but not put on an extra shirt. 10 Then He said to them, "Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave that place.
Evening: Divine Appointments
After hearing that the small community of La Rinconada, Ecuador, had an interest in hearing the Gospel, Darrell Musick and some national coworkers drove a vehicle as far as the terrain allowed. When they arrived, the two women sitting on the porch were open to conversation. Darrell shared with the women the newly recorded creation story in the Quichua language. One of the women tearfully said that she and others had been praying for a church in their community. Join Darrel and his wife, ROGENE, in praying for more “divine appointments” to share the Gospel with those God has prepared to hear His message. Thank you for praying for Darrell, Rogene, and the people of Ecuador.
South America is the focus region for the 2008 Lottie Moon offering theme “GO TELL the story of Jesus.”
STATEMENT: On this journey, the twelve depended completely on the generosity of the believers. Our missionaries work full-time in sharing the Gospel. Your faithful giving and our church’s giving through the Cooperative Program help to make this possible.
