Conventions
The
ministries and missions of your state
convention are also made possible by your
church’s CP Mission’s gifts.
Here are just a few of the many ministries
CP Missions supports in your state.

Evangelism.
State evangelism conferences, state
youth evangelism conferences and much
more.

Volunteer
missions. In coordination with the
International Mission Board and the
North American Mission Board, many state
Baptist conventions offer numerous volunteer
missions opportunities throughout the
year. These provide laypersons the opportunity
to serve along side long-term North
American and international missionaries.

Mission’s
education. From literature to conferences,
your state office provides many means
for you to learn about missions.

Church
planting. Your state equips and
supports individuals to be effective
church starters in areas where there
may be no Southern Baptist churches.

State
Baptist colleges and universities.
Along with support for your state schools,
your CP mission’s gifts help to
train new pastors and ministers through
the six Southern Baptist seminaries
located throughout the U.S.

Collegiate
ministries. Summer mission trips,
scholarships, and Baptist Collegiate
Ministries on college and university
campuses.

State
camps. Many state Baptist conventions
own and operate state Baptist camps
and conference centers.
